Nostalgic Friend

This piece was primarily made to reflect and remember the people in my life that have made impactful memories that I’ll never forget. This is an old friend of mine that helped me understand that gender isn’t important to loving someone for who they are and to being able to accept their downfalls and unique characteristics. In this case, this individual opened my eyes to the possibility that feelings can have to change into something beautiful, though within the moment of myself taking the picture I didn’t understand my conflicting feelings of love. When I had finally figured out that I was in love with her I heavily questioned my sexuality and my gender (the gender questioning was a different reason.) But I will say the interaction with that person taught me a life lesson that I won’t forget, you don’t need to be interested with the person's gender to love them in a romantic aspect.
