Corwyn Lund earned an MFA in Ceramic Art from Alfred University after studying Sculpture at the Rhode Island School of Design and Furniture Design at the University of Alberta. Following a decade of professional practice focused on site-specific installation, he began working with clay at the European Ceramic Work Centre in 2012. Over subsequent residencies in the Netherlands, China, Israel, the United States, and Canada, Corwyn developed a sculptural, architectural, and experimental ceramic practice. Lund’s ceramic art has been the subject of solo exhibitions at Headstone Gallery in Kingston, NY and the New York State College of Ceramics, and is held in the collections of the Boijmans Museum in Rotterdam and the Alfred Ceramic Art Museum. Works in other media are held in several prominent Canadian private and corporate collections.
