Over this last year, I’ve been working with the exploration of portraiture, The portfolio I submitted here shows the more figurative pieces in my exploration.
What is most important to me while painting a Portrait is capturing their essence of my subject. And so I enjoy to paint people I am close to. This allows me to not only paint how they look at a certain time, on a certain day. But how I see them as a person, who they are as people.
