Easter Sunday
In this piece I explored the idea of childhood and the loss of memories through the use of colors. By using blocks of color against the fine detail in the rest of the piece I wanted to portray never getting the full image when looking back on your past, more of an incomplete image that will likely never get filled in. I was inspired to do this piece after looking through an old photo album and realizing how much of my past has been forgotten as I’ve grown, leaving only an essence of such a large part of my life to be remembered.
