The Hand Made Here Holiday Show and Sale stands out as a unique holiday market among Calgary’s art sales.

This collective of local artists collaborates to create a high-quality showcase of handmade art and crafts, all crafted by artists from Calgary and surrounding areas.

Unlike many markets, Hand Made Here does not profit from its vendors. Instead, all participants pay a base fee to cover operational costs, such as hall rental and printing, and contribute through volunteer work to ensure the event runs smoothly. Every piece at the sale is handmade by the vendors themselves, with no commercial or mass-produced items allowed, though small-run items like greeting cards or limited-edition prints based on original artwork may be included.

Adding to the holiday spirit, the event is free to attend and offers complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and baked treats for guests.
