Facing Four
This piece if a reflection of who I am in layers. Refracting my face into distortion gives the effect that I have layers. The one everyone sees on a daily basis is behind the glass, the most common one. The person I am around friends and family comfortably is the first fractured face you see, slightly different, showing how I am different around different people. The person I am when I'm alone or lost in thought is the darker one, almost resembling a dark room and thinking. Lastly the inner child, the goofiest of them all is the face in the stem, it is a small part but it is there in me. This piece was something that showed me how to understand myself in different ways.
