QuestionableQuestionable is an artwork I made to recreate a photo of myself using graphite pencils. I used the grid technique to get the proportions correct and then used 4H, 3B, and 6B pencils to shade and create form. I chose this reference because I wanted to practice drawing complex expressions, hair, and fabric. My background is filled with flowers because I wanted to express the beauty of nature and myself regardless of facial expression and the absence of colour. |
