As someone who grew/is growing up in the modern era, I've been surrounded by technology my entire life. It's been a huge impact on how I dress, act, and my beliefs. In the illustration, I incorporated loads of tiny details and vibrant colours, which can be a bit overwhelming. This is to represent how the abundance of social media can be all consuming. I drew 4 teenage girls in stylish clothes, hanging around a room filled with TVs to highlight technology's impact on youth. I also took inspiration from the graphic design of modern magazine covers, hence the writing and the posing of the girls. The piece has a blue, green, grey and black colour scheme which are typically associated with technology and code.
