Services for faculty and staff

Library orientation and instruction

Library staff regularly offer tours and information literacy workshops on requested topics. If you would like library staff to visit your studio, classroom or would like to bring a group to the library, contact library@auarts.ca

Placing items in course reserves

To ensure student access to high demand print items and suggested readings, consider putting copies in the library course reserves.

Drop by the library to place items in course reserves. Please allow at least two weeks to complete your request. Contact the Library for more information.

Copyright compliance

Not sure if you are in compliance with copyright and fair dealing guidelines? AUArts Fair Dealing Guidelines ensure you are complying with Canada’s Copyright laws. Learn more about Creative Commons designations and check out the Copyright FAQs

For more information, contact library@auarts.ca

Request library materials

Priority for new acquisitions is given to requests which support teaching and research in the classroom and studio. Send requests to library@auarts.ca

Research help

Library staff are available for quick reference questions, but also for more specific one-on-one research help. To book with us, ask at the front desk, contact the library with your preferred times and questions, or book an appointment through the Library’s online booking system.
