Brawn vs. BrainsA self portrait depicting my emotional conflict since the COVID-19 pandemic. I created two versions of myself -- both of which competing for acceptance and love. One version of myself was pushed down and out of sight, similar to seeds of a plant. That version then grew and broiled with anger and jealousy, destroying everything to achieve some form of acceptance. The other version was accepted, and was able to receive the love that both versions craved for. Although lacking in physical strength, the smaller version tackles adversity through morality, choosing mercy whenever possible: The Brawn vs. The Brains. |
