Fox and Cat (Companionship Beyond Words)This piece explores a profound connection that can exist without language- a bond stronger than words rooted in presence itself. This mixed media sculpture captures the quiet yet powerful relationship emphasizing emotion through shape, color, texture, and intricate details. It was a craft of very meticulous work with lots of patience, constructed using papier-mache, cardboard, acrylic paints, spray paint, oil pastels, and watercolors, with every element and supply intentionally used to bring this piece to life. Each blade of grass was individually hand-cut and adhered with hot glue, one by one reinforcing my dedication to detail and realism. This sculpture represents a significant artistic revolution for me bridging the gap between two and three-dimensional work. This piece is an achievement, it is an exploration of connection, presence, and the unspoken bond that shapes our experiences. |
