War Room
War RoomArt is used when we do not have the words to explain, and I have never met a single person who has ever been able to find the right words, or even any words, remotely close to being able to accurately convey the pain, rage and anguish that every Ukrainian went through when they woke up on February 24th, 2022. This piece is a testament to what my head felt like, and I created it because I am still unable to find the words to describe it. As you stand in it I hope you are able to experience even a fragment of what it felt like to have the images, sounds, and videos of war come at you from every angle. And while you stand within the War Room, I ask that you try to imagine how it feels to see those same images of war and be able recognise the cities buildings, streets, names, voices and faces that they are documenting the destruction of. |
