For what purpose do we revel in our consciousness if we escape it? Plugged into a new device, constantly consuming, searching for distractions and worst of all, active in the destruction of the only planet we’ve found capable of sustaining us. We, the most intellectual beings on the planet, don't spend our time gaining deeper insights on life, nor pondering the limitlessness of our consciousness, but instead choses distraction and braindead relaxation. We seem no more interested in furthering our intellect than dead fish, driving towards the destruction of everything closest to us. |
