Join us for a visually stunning experience that showcases a collection of striking pieces by three Calgary-based artists: Jessamyn Box, Susana Espinoza, and Maria Munar (BFA ‘17, Media Arts) each of whom uses abstraction to characterize their distinct styles. 

Jessamyn’s bold experimentations in a variety of media: paint, crayon, marker, and ink capture the inhibition of street art, while Susana’s rigorous approach to achieving the perfect balance of colour relies on her investigations into tonality. Maria’s luminous layered hand-cut photography collages lean into digital technologies to evoke an alter modern production of the organic world processed through non-traditional mediums. 

This exhibit promises to be a truly inspiring and thought-provoking experience.
