The Lodgepole Center (LPC) in The Alberta University of the Arts (AUArts) is pleased to present "The Land Holds Us" exhibition, a celebration of Indigenous student artists at Alberta University of the Arts and the launch of a student gallery in the Lodgepole Center.
Curated by students Stephanie One Spot, AJ Kluck and Morgan Black, the artwork on display in "The Land Holds Us" represents First Nations, Métis, and Inuit students from all disciplines and years.
Set up alongside "The Land Holds Us" is the "Truth and Reconciliation" exhibit by Colouring it Forward featuring art and bios of Indigenous artists across Canada. These exhibitions compliment each other and will be displayed in the Main Mall and in the LPC on campus until March 29.
