Art school is a jumping off point

Alum Kyle Chow, BDes ‘09, Visual Communication Design combined his graphic design education, a green thumb, and a passion for terrariums to open his first plant store in Calgary in 2014. With a design background Kyle created the signage, marketed and branded the store eventually outgrowing its original space prompting a move to a larger one.
While running the day to day operations in the store Kyle finds time to continue his graphic design work and teach graphic design at Alberta University of the Arts.
