The current group exhibition at the Illingworth Kerr Gallery (IKG) brings together recent work by ten new ACAD faculty members. Their interests are represented in a range of media, from performance and ephemera to photography, commercial graphic design, ceramics, glass, printmaking and installation art. Each artist or designer brings a specific approach to making art and/or design projects, overlapping creative strategies in the process. It is an exhibition capable of accommodating itself to diverse contexts and whose meaning and visual surfaces are to be perceived differently according to respective contexts.
