The annual exhibition by graduating students of ACAD is an important cultural event for Calgary, highlighting students’ work that represents a spectrum of subjects, materials, forms and technology deemed vital to the next generation of artists and designers.

As in all major art and design academies around the world, the graduating exhibition attracts a wide audience from art world professionals, collectors, and the interested public to our campus.

This year the Illingworth Kerr Gallery team has organized and installed work by graduating students including eleven recipients of the Board of Governor Awards. All participating graduates in the show are generating a buzz that will follow them into professional art and design communities in the future.

This year the IKG has planned an expansive exhibition staged throughout ACAD. As you view this exhibition, please use this all-ACAD way-finding system to various works and spaces. Prepare to be surprised, awed and inspired by these talented and energetic creators. We hope you enjoy the show!
