Art Bus Celebration
Reserve a spotThis public art project features works by 7 local artists who used a public transit bus as their canvas for new original artworks.
All seven buses will be parked on Stephen Avenue between Macleod Trail and 1st Street SE (between Arts Commons and Olympic Plaza)
The artists chosen for this project include AUArts alumni Lyndon Navalta (BDes ‘13, VCD), Natalia Ionescu (BDes ‘22, VCD), Waposhpyii aka Paityn Savoie (BDes ’24, VCD) and Phoebe Riel (BDes ‘24, VCD).

12:00 p.m. - Snacks available
Join us to learn more about the project, see the Art Buses inside and out, meet the artists, and enjoy some snacks.
The Art Buses will be in service until mid-December literally taking artworks into communities throughout our city. In addition to the exterior bus wrapping, panels on the inside of each bus will have an artist statement and show some of their pre-existing artworks.
