Trans & Gender Diverse Name Change Bursary Fund

This fund has been established by Arif and Heather Ansari in recognition of the considerable barriers facing transgender and gender diverse individuals. Getting a name change is important to trans and gender diverse people as a step toward becoming the person they were meant to be. However, the process of a legal name change and updating documents can be complicated, time-consuming, and expensive. This fund aims to support AUArts students and reduce the barriers to this important step in their journey.
