Lisa Cerny has been working with glass since the turn of the century. She has worked as a production blower in glass studios in Canmore and Strathmore, and she has been a student and a Teaching Assistant at Pilchuck Glass School in Washington State and Northlands Creative in Lybster, Scotland. Lisa taught glassblowing for many years at Red Deer College Summer Series and in the Extended Studies program at ACAD. She has worked at AUArts (formerly ACAD) for over 2 decades and is currently the Educational Art Technician in the Glass Department.
