Indigenous Powwow Convocation Ceremony

The University will celebrate its first powwow convocation ceremony.

Alberta University of the Arts (AUArts) is excited to announce that the university will celebrate the first powwow convocation ceremony in Alberta as part of the Tsuut’ina Nation annual powwow on July 27, 2024.

AUArts will host a “Dance Special” on July 27, 2024, as part of the Tsuut’ina event to honour graduating Indigenous students. The powwow is a celebration and cultural event open to everyone that brings people together from communities across the province.
