Nancy Nisbet

Professor, Critical & Creative Studies

Nancy Nisbet is a Calgary-based critical studies and studio art educator and researcher exploring intersections with philosophy, art, science, and social change.

As sessional faculty at Alberta University of the Arts, she teaches undergraduate critical studies and studio courses. Her art practice includes photography, interactive installations, and performance. Focusing through a lens of improvisation; her research brings continental philosophy, natural science, and art into conversation on the nature of change in the world.
