Serenity Passage

A CHINOOK BLAST INSTALLATION

Serenity Passage is an 8-foot-long illuminated tunnel made of metal, LED lights, plexiglass, and blown glass rondels. With Leah Petrucci (BFA '11, Glass), AUArts students and alumni. 

Standing 7 feet tall and over 5 feet wide, Serenity Passage is accessible for viewers of all ages and levels of mobility. Upon entering the Serenity Passage, viewers are in an immersive experience.

With an illuminated dome of glass (overhead encased in plexiglass), the sounds of the city are muffled, allowing a moment for peace, joy, or introspection. Additionally, the Passage allows for both contemplation of and refuge from the snow.
