Prairie Interlace Symposium

The "Prairie Interlace" symposium will launch a series of pre-recorded, candid conversations between the project writers and featured artists involved in the exhibition.

"Prairie Interlace" is a touring exhibition featuring 60 pieces by 48 artists including Associate Professor and Alum Mackenzie Kelly-Frere, BFA '98, Textiles, former Professor Emeritus Dr. Jennifer E Salahub, former Professor Emeritus Mireille Perron plus more. Although largely overlooked in histories of prairie art and craft, this was a period of intense energy and creativity.

The Symposium will be offered both in-person at Nickle Galleries and livestreamed.

The in-person event will be accompanied by a round table discussion with the curators. Livestream information is TBA.
