Show + Sale Virtual Holiday Market: November 27 – December 3, 2021
Calgary, Alberta - Join us and experience artwork from the designers, craftspeople and artists at the Alberta University of the Arts Students’ Association (AUArts SA) Show + Sale Virtual Holiday Market.
Following a successful online Spring Show + Sale, the holiday market will remain virtual this year. Students in a wide range of disciplines including Painting, Drawing, Glass, Jewellery and Metals, Fibre, Printmaking, Sculpture, Media Arts, Photography, Ceramics, and Design will showcase their artwork to explore and purchase.
The program aims to be inclusive of visual artists of all mediums, styles, and themes while also providing the opportunity for new artists to explore the world of commercial art without startup costs. The selection of artwork ranges from one-of-a-kind showstoppers to unique fashion statements to budget friendly gifts, all designed and created by AUArts artists.
Proceeds from the sale go directly to students. Their participation helps develop entrepreneurial skills with nearly a third of AUArts graduates going on to start their own businesses.
