Message by Eviction – New Art From Vancouver

Young and nationally recognized artists from Vancouver will be exhibiting new and provocative multi-media work. 

Taken literally the title means what is left in the image when the signs of connotation are mentally deleted. This dismantling of the image works to pose new meanings out of the aggregate combinations which permeate the works selected for this
exhibition. Be it the standard trope of combining of high with low or a more elusive conflation of disparate forms; each work in the show subtly dismantles it own structure by which, and through, the very way it is manifest.
