Convocation 2026
AUArts 2026 Convocation ceremony will take place at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium on Wednesday, May 27 starting at 1:00pm.
Convocation is one of the most rewarding moments in the annual life of our university when we proudly witness students’ graduation. Crossing the stage means you have completed your degree and will continue building your art, craft and design practice. This is not the end of your learning but the continuation of what we hope will be a rich and rewarding lifelong journey of learning, exploring and creating. Take this moment to reflect and celebrate what you have started with us, and then take steps to build on them.

Grad Show
The Illingworth Kerr Gallery will host its annual Grad Show to showcase artwork from BFA, BDes and MFA Graduates of the Class of 2026.
The opening reception follows the Convocation ceremony at approximately 3:00 p.m.
