2024 Summer Residency Program

Call for Applications

Our campus is one of North America's best equipped, purpose-built universities of art, craft and design, offering facilities for ceramics, glass, drawing, fibre, jewellery, painting, print media, photography media arts, sculpture and visual communication. The Summer Residency is inclusive of diverse practices that may be defined as fine art, design, craft and text-based, but it is not limited to just these practice areas. We welcome your creativity!

During the 10-week residency, you will have an assigned home studio space and access to studio facilities and technical support to develop your independent studio work and research. Residency activities such as visiting artist talks, studio visits, group critique and seminar sessions are hosted by an AUArts faculty member throughout the summer to add to your experience.
