In 2006, Jennea Frischke received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Alberta College or Art & Design (ACAD) with distinction, where she majored in Jewelry and Metals. She has participated in exhibitions such as Prairie Excellence (a traveling exhibition where only 12 Albertans were selected), and her solo show, Victorian Inclinations. Her solo show was based off of a travel grant she had received from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts, where she traveled to London, England and studied Victorian jewelry in museums. In 2011, she was awarded with the Alberta Craft Council Award of Achievement.

She works with a variety of precious and non-precious materials such as sterling silver, gold, wood, horsehair, gemstones, and vintage components, turning them into one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry and wearable art. Jennea is inspired by her dreams, nostalgia, personal narrative, historical jewelry (in particular mourning jewelry), and an interest in natural history.  In her downtime she is a B grade film enthusiast, loves nature walks, is obsessed with velvet clothing, and collects vintage oddities and taxidermy.
