Collections

Luke Lindoe Library’s collection on art, craft, design and media has been developed to support teaching and learning at AUArts and beyond. 

The Library’s Print Collection includes over 27,000 books, periodicals, exhibition catalogues, artist books, spanning all aspects of art, craft, design and media. 

The Library also maintains and provides access to several online resources, multi-media and academic journal databases and streaming services in our Library catalogue, Primo, and E-Resources

AUArts’s digitized Image Teaching Collection is available to AUArts faculty, staff and students through artstor.org

Film Collection materials may be viewed in the library or borrowed for teaching and learning. The streaming services Films on Demand and NFB Campus are also available through our Library catalogue, Primo, and E-Resources

The Library’s Archival Collection focuses on AUArts faculty, alumni artists and art in Calgary, Alberta and the Prairie region. The Library also maintains vertical files on institutional history. 

Selected library materials are also directly available for borrowing from The Lodgepole Center on the 3rd Floor.
